Introduction
Salang Village is located at the North-West of Pulau Tioman, which is also the last stop for all ferry services departing from Mersing. Salang Beach Resort is one of the resorts in Salang Village which situated approximately 8 minutes walking-distance away from the left of the Salang jetty after passing by Dive Asia.
There are a total of 57 rooms with attached cold shower bathrooms at the resort, including 40 chalets of air-conditioned room which accommodate up to 4 persons each, while another 17 fan-only chalets for up to 2 persons each.
If you are going to arrive at Tekek Village Airport by flight from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, you will then have to hire either a "sea bus" or "water taxi" and transfer to Salang Village. The whole journey takes around 20 minutes and costs about RM40++ per person per trip.
